This house and the surrounding property are beautiful. The tennis/pickleball/basketball court could use some TLC, but we were able to play multiple games on it and it was a unique amenity for our stay. Our time here was too short, but very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Can’t say enough great things about Ian and Jumpview Farms. We had a great time relaxing at the fire pit, sitting on the second floor porch, watching the cows and other wildlife, and just taking a break with friends. The dogs had fun too checking out the grounds and lounging. WD will definitely stay here again.

The Farm (house) at Jump View was full of whimsy and charm! This house had so much character and was a delight to call our own for a few nights! Dinner in the dining room was a special event for us! We also took advantage of the tennis court and turned it into a pickleball court and had alot of fun! This is a pet friendly house which we loved bc we brought along our own furry family member and this is the cleanest pet friendly house we have ever stayed at! And each bedroom had fresh, white linens and white duvets which was felt high end! Side note-we took a 3.3 mile hike at the Goshen pass while staying here which is nearby by. The Farm at Jump View is nestled in a beautiful section of Virginia!

So happy you enjoyed turning the court into pickleball and the Goshen Pass hike; we’d love to welcome you and Dot back anytime.

Excellent stay. Extremely responsive and flexible host who made the stay better. The firepit was a perfect place to hang out. Home was great for families with children of all ages. Access trail to the wildlife management area was a mile away.

Thanks, Will — glad our responsiveness and the firepit helped make your stay enjoyable, and that the nearby trail worked out well. We’re always tuning things at our farm stay, so please come back anytime.

A beautiful spot to spend a few days with friends! The outdoor fire pit was put to good use and the multiple TV rooms provided other cozy spots to spend our nights. We took day trips into Lexington and Natural Bridge, and cannot wait to rent again in the summer so we can enjoy the tennis court!

Thanks Erin — glad our farm stay was a comfortable spot for your weekend and that the fire pit and TV rooms got good use. We’d love to host you again this summer so you can enjoy the tennis court; safe travels and hope to see you back soon.

A peaceful escape near the Natural Bridge. Ian was a proactive host and quick to restock supplies when we were running low. We felt transported back in time in this charming farmhouse. Bugs are normal and to be expected, so the vacuum was very handy. Loved the fire pit, grill, tennis court, and curious cattle nearby. Would stay again.

If you get the chance to stay at this magnificent civil war era home you have to do it. Tennis courts, shuffleboard court basketball court and an activity but for the kiddos. This house is very well stocked. You won’t believe everything that they have to offer. Been in 3 dozen airbnbs and this is by far our favorite. Off the beaten path and private and quiet. Sit out among the stars and they shine brighter than you ever seen. So close you can touch them. We had so much fun exploring this house. Think of your favorite movie about the civil war era and imagine yourself there as you walk through this home. Absolutely special place and near to Lexington. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Ian for allowing us to stay at this special place
